Dean’s party was fun, but we decided to leave in time to get to the Berkshires not to late.\u00a0 We ended up arriving around 12:30.\u00a0 The roads were SO bad I had to actually do the SPEED LIMIT!\u00a0 Ok, only a couple of time.\u00a0 We cruised up to West Hartford and grabbed the rest of her snow gear.\u00a0 The trip up was not bad at all.\u00a0 Ok, it was snowy, icy, and slippery, but there was not a lot of traffic.\u00a0 We decided at the last minute where to stay and it has worked out just fine.\u00a0 They have a hot tub, and after a day of skiing, a hot tub is nice!<\/p>\n
Skiing was GREAT!!!\u00a0 The best powder day that these people have seen in years!\u00a0 There was 18 inches of powder in some places!\u00a0 I forgot my ski poles so I borrowed two from the “were dropped last year” rack.\u00a0 They just asked that I bring them back.\u00a0 Nice.
\nAfter skiing we decided to grab a meal.\u00a0 We asked around and found out that we wanted to go to Mohawk Park.\u00a0 After we managed to get out of the parking lot….\u00a0 it took a bit of rocking of the car.\u00a0 We struck off in search of the restaurant.\u00a0 I though it was to the left so we decided to go right.\u00a0 We pulled in to a gas station and turned around.\u00a0 There was still 6 inches of snow everywhere.\u00a0 We found the place and it was not crowded.\u00a0 There were about 6 locals hanging around and us.\u00a0 There was one pool table with 5 people playing.\u00a0 Marlo was making comments.\u00a0 We ordered food and one of the guys came over and introduced himself to us.\u00a0 We ended up playing some pool and eating some good food.\u00a0 A few people came and went, but we ended up playing pool with Al and Jessie.\u00a0 We were hanging out playin pool, havin some beer.\u00a0 All and all a really good time.\u00a0 Al started talking about sno-mobileing and Marlo got all excited.\u00a0 She had never been before.\u00a0 I had only been a couple of time.\u00a0 Al has a year-round place right in Mohawk park, walking distance to the bar, and they invited us to come over a take a ride on his sleds!\u00a0 They were so nice!!!\u00a0 He and I bombed around, Marlo and I and He a Jess bombed around, Marlo and Jess bombed around and finally Al and I bombed around, made some new trails and bombed around some more!\u00a0 It was a BLAST!!!\u00a0 These were great people.\u00a0\u00a0 We went back to the bar and hung out some more and talked about happy people.\u00a0 We are happy people.\u00a0 They are happy people and we are all livin life!\u00a0 They invited us back up again to stay at their place and I think that will have to take them up on it!!!\u00a0 Marlo invited them up to the lake house and I hope that they come!<\/p>\n

They we took a very very nice hot tub, watched some TV (Blogged) and went to bed…<\/p>\n
The weather looks like it should be nice in the morning.\u00a0 We plan to ski and then drive the 3:33 hour drive to Kennebunk.\u00a0 That we will stay the day and night and then take off for points south.\u00a0 We need to firm up those plans…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
