and that accent :&gt;\u00a0 interesting hotel, not too small and has ac, a must.\u00a0 I figure out where I am and start looking into a flight home.\u00a0 First stop, food, fish and chips of course!!!\u00a0 it was not wrapped in newspaper though.\u00a0 A little disappointing.\u00a0 It was good though.\u00a0 And they had free wifi.\u00a0 My phone stopped working, so I needed to find a phone store and try to replace my charger for my laptop&#8230;\u00a0 success on the phone, not so good on the charger.\u00a0 It said it was charging, but lied&#8230;\u00a0 no laptop, very sad!<br \/>\nI loved the writing on the streets, \u201cLook Right\u201d!\u00a0 They should just admit that they drive on the wrong side of the street!\u00a0 There is actually one street in London where you have to drive on the right.\u00a0 I forgot why&#8230;<br \/>\nOf course I have to do the hop-on hop-off bus&#8230;<br \/>\nBuckingham Palace, Big Ben (it&#8217;s actually the bell, not the clock tower), London Bridge, London eye, and all that.\u00a0 There is a lot to see.\u00a0 It was nice to be able to actually talk to people.<br \/>\nWhen we started the bus tour I was the only one on the top and there was a live guide.\u00a0 I had a private tour for a while and then a bunch of people joined us.\u00a0 It was rather amusing.\u00a0 He kept welcoming people to Rick&#8217;s personal tour of London :&gt;<br \/>\nI went to a place called \u201cThe Spice of Life\u201d for some food.\u00a0 How could I pass up the spice of life?!?!\u00a0 I met a guy in there that was waiting for his blind date&#8230;\u00a0 he met her on-line.\u00a0 I did not wait around to see her, but he was looking forward to it&#8230;<br \/>\nThe on and\u00a0 off bus in London actually included a boat ride too&#8230;\u00a0 that was cool.<br \/>\nI did go to the national museum.\u00a0 It was one of those \u201cno pictures allowed\u201d ones&#8230;\u00a0 so the pictures are not-so-good :&gt;\u00a0 Had to sneak them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I got really lazy at the end and booked a hotel right next to Heathrow Airport.\u00a0 It was very nice and I was ready to go home and did not want to mess with travel in the morning.\u00a0 The train station was attached to the the airport so I was all set.<br \/>\nThe hotel was really nice.\u00a0 For some reason I always judge a room by the bathroom&#8230;\u00a0 this one had a cool glassed in shower and a tub&#8230;<br \/>\nI hung out in the airport and the hotel and chatted with a bunch of people.\u00a0 The food was good and I recognized it all.<br \/>\nNow, when you book a flight the day before, you don&#8217;t get a lot of choices&#8230;\u00a0 when I went to book it I would hesitate and the flight would be gone&#8230;\u00a0 I was getting a little antsy so I ended up getting a flight that went to Boston, to Philly, and then to New Haven&#8230;\u00a0 ok, a round-about trip, but I made it.\u00a0 I got a taxi from Tweed.\u00a0 I had never flow into Tweed&#8230;\u00a0 it worked.<br \/>\nBeing home was nice&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>London 07-28-2010 Finally people speak English&#8230;
