\nAfter talking on Skype until 4:00am it was time to get some sleep\u2026 so I did.\u00a0 I woke to my alarm at 9:09 and threw some clothes on for breakfast.\u00a0 It is a typical hotel buffet breakfast\u2026 croissants, scrambled eggs, bad bacon, fruit, etc.\u00a0 the one thing that sets this breakfast apart is that they have dessert.\u00a0 I had cheese cake for breakfast yesterday.. hey, it is a dairy product :>\u00a0 After breakfast I went through the packing ritual.\u00a0 Throw the bag on the bed, gather all belongings, prepare to load\u2026\u00a0 shower, pack and lastly turn off the computer.\u00a0 The computer is running almost all of the time providing English music for me.
\nI went to the desk to check out.\u00a0 Now I am usually really easy going about charges and costs, etc.\u00a0 BUT I knew I had to inflict my will when I checked in, so I made sure to look at the bill\u2026\u00a0 Lo and behold the guy that gave me the 79e rate put it in the system and they were charging me 374e instead of 160e\u2026\u00a0 hello!!!\u00a0 I had a suspicion that was going happen\u2026\u00a0 after a bit of discussion and a queue building up they relented and gave it to me for the agreed upon rate\u2026\u00a0 turns out it is cheaper to book though booking.com than to do it in real life\u2026 go figure\u2026
\nI also checked out my trains for the day.\u00a0 One from Praha to Dresden Germany which is actually north.\u00a0 And then a second from Dresden to Frankfurt.\u00a0 I like Dresden because I read a series of books where that is the name of the main character\u2026\u00a0 silly, I know.\u00a0 I even booked my hotel.\u00a0 I was very careful this time to get something close to the train station AND MUST HAVE AC!\u00a0 Many of them did not.\u00a0 I probably spent 22 minutes picking out the hotel\u2026 I really hope I picked a winner\u2026
\nI stocked up on food and drink for the cross countries train tour and also made sure that I spent all of my krones\u2026\u00a0 I did not get rid of them all, but almost.
\nMy train to Dresden was 20 minutes late.\u00a0 This is the first delay that I have had to endure.\u00a0 Fortunately the train from Dresden to Frankfurt runs every hour so I will simply take the next one\u2026 gotta just roll with it\u2026
\nFirst class is SO the way to go.\u00a0 Second class looks more like a cattle car and the dining car on this train looks like the ones in the movies\u2026\u00a0 it\u2019s about time :>\u00a0 I have been waiting for the movie-style dining car.\u00a0 No plugs on this train though\u2026\u00a0 maybe in the dining car\u2026\u00a0 I am pretty well charged up at his point, but hey, be prepared, it\u2019s a long day and I need my phone to find my hotel when I get to Germany\u2026 I actually charged my phone off my laptop a couple of days ago.\u00a0 The phone is key for me!
\nI ate lunch and now it might just be nap time\u2026
