It was sunny, but only in the low 70\u2019s.\u00a0 We went to the beach and found a couple sharks\u2019 teeth.\u00a0 Then\u00a0 we went to Sharky\u2019s the restaurant.\u00a0 It was a nice time.\u00a0 Then on the way home we stopped at a coffee shop.\u00a0 Apparently there is folgers in the house here and Marlo threw that away at my house so I know it\u2019s not her favorite.\u00a0 We go to the coffee shop and she gets a coffee.\u00a0 It is the bottom of the thermos so the persons tells her she can get a refill\u2026\u00a0 I get a tasty cherry treat\u2026\u00a0 we drink her coffee and she gets a refill.\u00a0 She takes a couple of sips as we sit in the sun and read our books.\u00a0 She get bored and tells me that she will be right back.\u00a0 No problem.\u00a0 I have a book, some coffee and I just had a treat.\u00a0 More importantly I have the car keys :>\u00a0 well, I finish the coffee and nearly finish my book by the time she gets back.\u00a0 She looks down and complains that I drank here coffee\u2026\u00a0 it inform her that she has been gone more than an hour\u2026 she argues as she looks at\u00a0 her watch and stops as soon as she looks at it\u2026 over a hour\u2026\u00a0 no biggy, like I said I was content.\u00a0\u00a0 She has found some clothes in\u00a0 a store up the way that she wants to try on for me\u2026\u00a0 hmmm, shopping.\u00a0 I am very well behaved and even helpful. The lady at the fitting room even said so.\u00a0 Well only after I pointed out how good I was at this\u2026 :>\u00a0 it is tricky business commenting on a woman who is trying on clothes\u2026\u00a0 I got a gold star.\u00a0 Ok, I have to admit, Marlo is not a difficult woman\u2026 in this regard :> (We will see if Marlo is reading at this point, I will probably be struck If I am near enough)
\nAnyway we go back to the house and I take everyone to dinner.\u00a0 We go to an oyster house.\u00a0 Fried good, containers of cole slow, that kind of place except for the fact that their grouper and steak were very good.\u00a0 We had 2 dozen oysters, escargot, and good meals.\u00a0 There were some loud obnoxious people singing to everyone and no it was not us.
\nWe get back and take a nice hot tub and what not.\u00a0 I do laundry in last preparation for the big trek.\u00a0 Marlo prints her boarding pass, get directions to the rent-a-car place.\u00a0 I review maps and enter my first stop into the GPS.
\nSo I am as prepared as I will be for my trek.\u00a0 Tom is actually leaving Wednesday morning for Miami, so I will have already walked my first full day.\u00a0 We will have a check point the.\u00a0 I have no doubt that I will continue.\u00a0 Now there is this one little nagging issue that I have.\u00a0 The GPS tells me that is it going to take me 8 hours to travel 18 miles.\u00a0 That is 2.25 miles per hour.\u00a0 If that is as fast as I walk then it is going to take me 8 days to get to Miami.\u00a0 Also I think I am going to Fort Lauderdale instead of Miami\u2026 depending on the flights\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
